The magical sword Fearfrost is an heirloom of the Tzarinas of Kislev, and is currently wielded by Tzarina Katarin, the Ice Queen of Kislev.
Origins and Abilities
This magical sword was forged in the time of Tzarina Miska of the Gospodar, . The blade has been passed from Tzarina to Tzarina as a symbol of queenship, and may only be lifted by a woman. Were a man to lift the blade, he would be frozen to death instantly. The sword is infused with Ice Magic, and a single scratch can lead to death from the intense cold.
Background changes
In the Warhammer Armies: Dwarfs from the 4ª edition says that it was the Dwarf Runesmith Alaric the Mad who forged Fearfrost for Miska, thing that no longer agrees with the established background, because they are separated by almost 1,500 years of difference.
